Trustee Week 2025 – Spotlight on Anita and Barbara

5 December 2025

In celebration of ‘Trustee Week’ we thought we’d applaud the Trustees who joined us in 2025..

Anita Miller, Trustee at Melanoma UK

Anita Miller brings a wealth of leadership and compassion to Melanoma UK’s Board of Trustees.
A retired Commercial Director at Gallaher Limited, Anita’s career spanned telesales, customer services, and credit control, where she developed a strong foundation in governance and strategic leadership.

Her commitment to community service includes serving as Deputy Chair and Committee Chair at the End of Life Partnership, which supports palliative care education, and as Chair of Governors at Haslington Primary School.

Motivated by her late husband’s successful melanoma treatment, Anita is passionate about using her experience to advance Melanoma UK’s mission to raise awareness, promote prevention, and improve understanding of skin cancer.
Melanoma UK is deeply grateful for Anita’s dedication, insight, and continued support in helping us make a lasting difference in the fight against melanoma.
