22 June 2026
Repeated spells of extreme heat are affecting the UK this June. But protecting yourself…
On 25th and 26th April the famous Kiltwalk took place under blue skies in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Rising to the challenge were some amazing big hearted supporters of Melanoma UK, wearing our logo, spreading awareness and raising funds to support our Mission. Long live the Kiltwalk whenever and wherever it may roam !
Bryan Arnott took on the Glasgow Kiltwalk alongside his wife Linda, following her diagnosis of malignant melanoma in 2023.
Their fundraising story reflects both lived experience and the importance of early detection and ongoing support for those affected.
Donna, Debbie and Laura’s fundraising Kiltwalk was to remember a dear friend Barrie who sadly passed away in September 2025.
The ladies smashed it and we loved seeing 3 more Melanoma hearts crossing the finish line.
Fancy taking part in a Kiltwalk or any other challenge ? We’d be happy to support, cheer you on and share your story. Whether you are raising awareness or raising funds it all helps to make a difference. If you need inspiration, check out the Kiltwalk site or visit our Events page
