At No10 ahead of National Cancer Plan
On Monday 2nd February, ahead of World Cancer Day, Melanoma UK was invited to an event at 10 Downing Street, bringing together Charities, people with lived experience and professionals working on the frontline of Cancer Care.
Our CEO Tracy Paine MBE attended the event hosted by Wes Streeting MP ( Secretary of State for Health and Social Care) to mark World Cancer Day and introduce the New National Cancer Plan for England. Our Charity was invited alongside organisations from the rare and less common cancer community, including fellow members of Cancer 52.
This reflects the growing collaboration between Charities and government and a shared commitment to improving the outcomes for everyone affected by cancer
