Melanoma UK visits UoM’s Melanoma hub

Our CEO Tracy Paine MBE and COO Colin Glover had the pleasure of presenting our Grant Certificate to Dr Rebecca Lee at The University of Manchester’s Melanoma hub and meeting the wider team of research leads and students on site. 

The project we are funding is understanding how targeted therapy modulates the liver microenvironment in Melanoma liver metastasis. Tracy and Colin were treated to fascinating presentations from the various Melanoma research groups and the multi-faceted approach to advancing efficacy of treatment for those with advanced stage Melanoma. 
The dedication and effort these wonderful people apply to their work is inspirational. It was really great to receive their reassurance that grants like ours do help to make a difference.
