Kiltwalk Glasgow 2025

My mum died after a brave fight against Melanoma and then a few years later I was diagnosed with it. Apparently I'm just unlucky and it's not genetics but 14 years on and I'm still going strong. Medicine has improved so much since mum died, I want to help raise money and keep that momentum going.

Whilst volunteering at the Kiltwalk last year I was inspired and decided to take part this year.

I'm a big girl there is no denying, this is going to take commitment and training and won't be pretty but with your support and generosity it will make the journey easier.

Melanoma the rarest and deadliest form of skin cancer killed my Mum aged 53.
