In Loving Memory of Stan Evans

Stan was 84 years old when he passed away in June this year. Stan was a true family man who loved his sport, especially football and cricket. Stan was married to Wendy for 59 years and had two children, Carina and Neil, Grandchildren James and Chloe and Great Grandson Eddie. Who lovingly called him "Garky". Stan had many health challenges over the last few years but always remained positive and upbeat and never let anything get him down. He was a fighter to the end.

Melanoma UK has been such an important charity to Stan and his family for several years. Sadly in June 2021 his son Neil lost his battle to Melanoma in Australia, where he lived. Since then family and friends have been passionate in their fundraising, successfully raising £50,000 to donate a Horus Mole Mapping machine for the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, which is now helping to save lives in the fight against Melanoma.

In Stan's memory his family wished to continue supporting Melanoma UK.

Thank you to all the family and friends who contributed to a Dermatoscope presented to  the Norfolk and Norwich hospital in memory of Stan Evans

Stan recently passed away and for the last four years he has been a passionate fundraiser for Melanoma UK as he lost his son Neil to Melanoma in June 2021. The family feel strongly that in Stan's memory they should carry on such important fundraising that is needed.
