David Uttley Returns to Kilimanjaro

“In August 2023, I stood atop Mount Kilimanjaro, carrying a deeply personal weight – my mother’s ashes, honouring her life and spirit at one of the most powerful places on earth. This December, I’ll be returning to Kilimanjaro to reunite my father with her, as he passed away in April. This climb is not just a physical journey but a profoundly emotional one, of love and remembrance.

Kilimanjaro is one of the ultimate challenges. This time, it will be even more demanding with the harsh, unpredictable weather waiting at the summit. As a stage four skin cancer patient, my mission goes beyond the summit itself. I’m determined to raise awareness of this devastating illness, hoping to make a difference for those who may one day face similar battles. Early diagnosis saves lives, and sharing our stories can bring that message to those who need It most.

Please consider supporting my journey. Your donation will fuel this challenge, and together, we can create hope and bring awareness to those who need it most.”
