It is great to start the Summer months by spreading some positive news and it was the news of a big win through the lottery partnership with NYCDA, that has put a smile on all our faces. We were delighted to be able to see Zita Brooks win a fabulous £1,000 and to celebrate this good fortune.

As you can see Hertfordshire based Zita is sporting some of the items from her MUK goody bag, which she received in addition to the £1,000 she recently won on the NYCDA Weekly Draw.  As we arranged this PR opportunity it was nice to find out more about her, her family and her love for the charity, which she has supported for many years. Zita’s support of our cause started after the passing of her best friend from melanoma and she has been a passionate advocate ever since.

All proceeds from the ‘1804 Campaign’ between NYCDA and Melanoma UK will go towards helping increase prevention through education and awareness, raising funds for vital research and helping those involved in the continued fight against Melanoma.
