Peter did quickly act at treating the initial skin melanoma and was given the all clear and sadly it returned 5 + years later. Raising awareness isn’t just about telling people to wear sunscreen. It is about funding pioneering research into treatment-resistant strains, training medical professionals to catch rare variations early, and building robust, long-term care systems that support a patient’s mind and body long after the surgical margins are cleared.
