Charity Bake Sale

Creamy cheesecake and assorted chocolate treats at the Melanoma UK cake sale event on May 26th.

Please come along to support our charity bake sale for melanoma UK which will be running on Tuesday 26th May in the Michael Smith Foyer as part of melanoma awareness month!

The Marie, Lee & Hurlstone lab all research melanoma, the 5th most common cancer in the UK, with our research spanning melanocyte development, immunotherapies and clinical trials. Charities such as Melanoma UK provide vital support to patients whilst also funding melanoma research like ours.
We'd love your support as we raise awareness, give back to an important cause, and provide some much-needed sweet treats!
There will be lots of delicious homemade bakes including cheesecake, blondies and rocky roads…
Every donation is appreciated and will make a difference, we hope to see you there!

 

I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester who is part of a few research groups who do research on Melanoma! We have always had really positive interactions with melanoma UK and are very grateful recipients of some of funding from charities such as Melanoma UK. For melanoma awareness month we are planning on running a bake sale to both raise awareness (a super important cause) and hopefully some funds to give back!
