“My family are donating in memory of my daughter Katie Botting aged 41 years, who passed away on 17th June 2023 after battling Melanoma. She was keen to spread awareness of the disease. She had almost completed her second year of a Diagnostic Radiography degree which sadly, she did not have the chance to complete. Derby University posthumously awarded her the degree and subsequently re-named their Diagnostic Radiographer Care and Compassion award in her name, this will preserve her memory and is a wonderful tribute to Katie. She would have been an amazing radiographer, her life was snatched away much too soon!”
